We are a member of the Protect Our Waters Coalition. The Coalition formed in 2007 to ensure the ecological and hydrological integrity of Mt. Shasta’s unique headwater areas for future generations. Current members include Trout Unlimited, California Trout and the McCloud Watershed Council.
Check out the coalition’s web pages on water science, policy and economics. There is also a blog and news page dedicated to the preservation and conservation of Mt. Shasta’s waters, and the discussion of issues surrounding our most precious resource.
Protect Our Waters sends out an electronic newsletter from time to time, updating you on the latest happenings regarding our region’s water. Click here to join the newsletter email list.
